Artist Research

My images and research are inspired by Cornelia Parkers 'Third pieces of silver'. However, unlike parkers use of a steam roller, and precisely measured disks, my brief was to capture cutlery dancing which is not precise but random, ad definitely not 2D. the images I have created were made using cutlery hung on string and left to move in the wind, water from the shower or from the push of a hand. I have tried to incorporate a street style through these images, although no people are present, it encapsulates a look and feeling of the early rave scene.
